1 Healing Scriptures

To Understand that it is God’s Will for us to be healed, and By Jesus’ Stripes, we Were Healed:

Isaiah 53:5

-But he was pierced for our transgressions,

    he was crushed for our iniquities;

the punishment that brought us peace was on him,

    and by his wounds we are healed.

and 1 Peter 2:24.

24 “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”

We have a blood covenant with God.  It’s His promise.

Deut 28: 15/61 explains that sickness is part of the curse.

John 13: 15-17 I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. 16 Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. 17 Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.

John 14: 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

So, as we learn how to heal by God, don’t forget that when we give to others the healing knowledge and prayers that we are learning, God will multiply.

Matt 18:19-20

Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.

Deut 15:10

Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.

Healing comes from the Word of God.

Proverbs 4:20-23

20 My son, pay attention to what I say;

    turn your ear to my Words.

21 Do not let them out of your sight,

    keep them within your heart;

22 for they are life to those who find them

    and health to one’s whole body.

23 Above all else, guard your heart

Pslams 107: 20 He sent out his word and healed them;

    he rescued them from the grave.

Isaiah 55: 11  so is my word that goes out from my mouth:

    It will not return to me empty,

but will accomplish what I desire

    and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Isaiah 57: 19  creating praise on their lips.

Peace, peace, to those far and near,”

    says the Lord. “And I will heal them.”

 So let’s learn Faith > Fear

As it says in Hebrews 2: 13-15

Again, I will put my trust in him.  And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.

14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Have faith in God, who is life. Do not have faith in fear, which is an agreement with the devil

Old testament:

Gen 3 story: 3:17 …cursed is the ground…, through painful toil…; 3:22-24 God prevented them from the Tree of Life

Sickness came from the curse of the fall.  Including sickness of the earth.

Exodus 15:26 I am the Lord that healeth thee.

Exodus 23: 25-26 But you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and water; and I will remove sickness from your midst. There shall be no one miscarrying or barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.

Deuteronomy 7: 14-15 …The Lord will remove from you all sickness; and He will not put on you any of the harmful diseases of Egypt which you have known.

Deut 30: 19-20  I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse.  So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants, by loving the Lord your God, by obeying His voice, and by holding fast to Him; for this is your life and the length of your days, that you may live in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give them.

Deut 31: 6 Be Strong and Courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you.  He will not fail you or forsake you.

Psalm 23: 1-3 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside still waters. He restoreth my soul.

Psalm 30:2 O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

Psalm 41:3 The Lord nurses them when they are sick and restores them to health.
